LPG Cost Calculator

This is a little calculator I knocked up for my Tuning site. I made this calculator to show you how much you can save by converting your vehicle to LPG. My calculator allows for precise calculations matching your vehicle / engine combination economy figures as stated by the manufacturers or from your own personal records or experience.

Built into the calculation is a factor that more LPG is required compared to fuel. It is called economy factor and allows you to enter a percentage between 5 and 30. You can use what I have recommended as a base figure or get this information from a licensed Autogas fitter.

There is a calculator on the Autogas site but my calculator is more versatile, allowing you to dial in your cars actual economy and adjust the economy factor. You can't do that with the online calculator.

Download the LPG calculator zip file by Right Clicking the file below and use 'save as' and see if it is worth your wild to convert.

Unzip the three files into your preferred location and then click on LPGCALC.exe to run the calculator.

If the government is offering incentives or rebates, make sure to adjust the installation cost amount to reflect this.
